New Look and Merged Content

Hope everyone had a good Thankgiving. I spent the past 4 days with 16 members of my family at a cabin in Big Bear, CA. I am happy to report that it wasn’t a total nightmare and was actually quite enjoyable. There was some sledding, playing of board games, Christmas Tree lighting in Old Town and thankfully some internet access. Out of the 16 people, there was probably 14 iDevices and half were in use at one time or another. So much for ‘disconnecting’.

This weekend I decided to merge the content from an old site. It was the first blog I created for the majority of my clients. Future of Real Estate Technology. I would like to welcome any visitors that came here looking for RE Tech. All old articles are under the category “Real Estate Technology” <- click here to see all posts. I stopped posting on it late last year but didn’t want to ditch all the content, so I merged it here.

During the merging I also updated the Theme to StudioPress Driskill Child Theme. This theme is a responsive design. That means the layout changes automatically depending on the device you are viewing this from. This eliminates the need for a mobile template and or plugin.

For this type of site it works well, but I am not totally sold on the responsive design yet. All the Studiopress sites will be getting updated for responsive design soon. I am hoping that Agentpress will be one of the first that gets updated.

I haven’t finished putting all the pieces together and the demo of this theme uses. Come back in another week and I might have it done.
